History

The Practice Choir was formed about 30 years ago under the auspices of Geoffrey Ditcham, a teacher of music at Edinburgh Academy, for unpretentious singers who simply enjoyed making Music. Geoffrey's successor, Nicholas Jones, further developed the Choir and led it into the standard choral repertoire which it continues to perform under its present Chorusmaster Bruce Davis - and it still enjoys making Music!
